DOUG
MORRIONE (B.A., Colby College/University College Cork, Ireland , M.A.,
The New School for Social Research) is an award winning producer, director
and editor living on the Upper West Side in New York City. His work has
been broadcast on many major networks and includes everything from short-form
commercial work to long form film and documentary. Co-creator and cinematographer
of the children's video series, Jack the Cuddly Dog, he is currently finishing
the second episode. In the past few years, Doug's interest in still photography
has grown into a passion and has taken him far from the big city to locations
such as Zion National Park in southern Utah, the far western edge of Grand
Canyon, Arizona, the frozen glacial lakes of Maine, the southern Rocky Mountains
in Colorado and more recently Kenya and Tanzania, Africa. Doug's work is
very much founded in taking advantage of the opportunities one can make
to put themselves somewhere they never thought they'd be, looking at something
they couldn't imagine they'd ever see. See more at: www.dougmorrione.com |
